Dr. Sundari Mase, Sonoma County Health Officer, Discusses Contact Tracing

Notice Dr. Mase describes the contact as a duration of 15 minutes or more. So for most of our mass attendees, we are well below that parameter. However, we haven’t seen each other for a long time, so it is possible for conversations after mass to be that long, so be sure to wear your masks, try to maintain the 6 foot social distancing. Stay safe and thank God we have been spared so far.

Dr. Sundari Mase delineates contact tracing practices in Sonoma County. We thank our parishioners and visitors for cooperating with our mass registration process. An outbreak is defined as 3 or more cases, and if this occurs, our data would be provided to the county. Notice that Dr. Mase states that this data is treated with confidentiality and not shared with any other government agencies.

For our visitors, please take the card which is dated as a reminder of when you attended mass at one of our churches. You are asked to report to us if you test positive or are diagnosed positively with COVID-19 immediately, and we will contact you if we have an outbreak in our parish.
