St. Elizabeth’s Guild

St. Elizabeth’s Guild is a service ministry which performs fund raising and supports various charities in the community as well as St. Elizabeth’s Church.

Guild Volunteers sponsor an annual Rummage Sale on the first week end in June where gently worn clothing, household items and small furniture are sold at affordable prices.

Saturday Morning of our Rummage Sale. Proceeds help defray operating costs of the church.

Guild members also volunteer parking cars for the Russian River Jazz and Blues Festivals in the spring and Fall. We hope you will consider helping us park cars for the Russian River Jazz Festival Sept. 8 & 9th, 2018. It’s a lot of fun and a great fund raiser for the church! Visit their website for more information. Call the church office at (707) 869-2107 to volunteer.

On July 4th and Labor Day week ends, the Guild hosts a coffee service after the 9:00 AM mass in the outdoor church. Please consider volunteering by either bringing a dish or helping to serve and clean up. The menu includes sweets and savories, brunch type finger food works best.

The Guild meets on the first Wednesday of the month at St. Hubert’s Hall at 1:00 PM. Current officers:

Francine Korn, President

Katrina Angeli, Vice President

Mary Anne Gustafson, Secretary

Sharilyn Parmeter, Treasurer

We encourage parishioners to join the Guild or volunteer for one of our fund raisers, or service projects! Call the office and leave a message (707) 869-2107 and we will return your call!

St. Elizabeth’s Guild also works with St. Vincent de Paul’s Society and the Salvation Army at the Russian River Food Pantry, a service agency of the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Food is distributed at the Guerneville Community Church. Collection baskets are in the foyers of St. Elizabeth’s and the mission churches of St. Catherine of Siena in Monte Rio and St. Colman’s in Cazadero.
